About the role
- We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and promote workplace safety while ensuring compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- This individual will work closely with site leadership, contractors, and employees to foster a proactive safety culture and maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain site safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, and regulatory documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, and HR to promote a strong safety culture.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety training.
Requirements
- Safety Manager (OSHA 510 Required)
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational safety, risk management, and safety program implementation, with OSHA 510 certification required.
- OSHA 510 Certification (Required)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Risk Assessment, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- OSHA 500 certification
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Experience supporting manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, automotive, or construction environments.
- Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus but not required.
