About the role

Responsibilities

  • As the Organizations & Leadership Coordinator, you will coordinate and implement a variety of student leadership programs offered through Student Involvement.
  • In this role, you will support registered student organizations by providing training, assisting with event registration and planning, and serving as a resource for organization leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in organization advising, event planning, student advocacy, or related work.
  • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with student organizations.

Nice to have

  • Two years of experience in a student activities office in a college setting.
  • Experience advising student organizations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
  • Experience with program development, presentation development, and implementation.
  • Experience working with an online student organizations management system (i.e. Orgsync, Collegiatelink, Campus Labs, etc.).
  • Customer service experience.

Compensation

  • In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position.
