About the role

  • The Staff Engagement Director (SE Director) plays a critical role in the Global Resource Team, championing the holistic well-being and development of our staff.
  • This leader is committed to empowering all Launch Global staff to flourish in both life and work, ultimately multiplying their Kingdom impact worldwide.
  • The SE Director is responsible for all recruiting, hiring, shepherding, and leading for the Care Team Sr.

Responsibilities

  • Launch Global exists to mobilize churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people groups.

  • By fostering a healthy organizational culture, the SE Director ensures that the SE team provides all staff with the support needed through life and ministry transitions, from onboarding to long-term deployment.
  • The SE Director reports to the CEO and significantly collaborates with other departments to jointly execute various and relevant objectives.
  • Shepherd and serve the team using the core principles of Lead, Develop, Care to provide strategic oversight and direction to the
  • Ministry Partner Development (MPD) Specialist(s)
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Strategy Leadership Team (SLT) to align staff engagement strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to foster team development and healthy team culture, navigating interpersonal skills with grace and wisdom.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize appropriately and seamlessly juggle multiple tasks.
  • Displays a track record of achieving results by relying on God in prayer and humility exercised in bold faith.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • At least 5 years of ministry leadership experience required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex organizational needs with clarity and inspiration.
