Responsibilities

  • Formulation Support: Assist scientists with the preparation, weighing, and mixing of resin formulations following strict written protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date lab notebooks and digital data records.
  • proactively flag restocking needs and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Equipment Care: Clean, calibrate, and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on lab equipment.
  • Inventory & Lab Ops: Monitor and organize lab consumables and reagents; proactively flag restocking needs and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical written protocols precisely.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and safely lift/move lab materials (up to 30 lbs).

Nice to have

  • Any prior lab experience, whether formal or informal (school chemistry labs, maker spaces, or hands-on hobby projects).
  • Familiarity with basic lab safety practices (GHS labeling, Safety Data Sheets [SDS], and PPE).
  • Prior exposure to or hobbyist experience with 3D printing.

  • The compensation bracket for this position is $28.99 - $37.64 (per hour).
  • coursework or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
