About the role
- We're seeking a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to join the Product Footprints https://watershed.com/en-GB/solutions/product-footprints team.
- You'll work side-by-side with product managers, AI engineers, and climate scientists.
- A sandboxed agentic workflow that translates emissions reductions scenarios from natural language into repeatable data transformations
Responsibilities
- A full-stack application to manage supply chain data, including data upload, AI model orchestration, and integration with the rest of Watershed's platform
- Partner with Product Management and Design to understand user workflows and needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Partner with AI engineers and climate scientists to build ergonomic and trustworthy agentic workflows
- Lead by example by writing performant, well-crafted, extensible, and maintainable code
- Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering industry experience across both front-end and back-end, with an emphasis on back-end
- A track record of ownership and high-impact projects
- Experience with, or interest in, building AI-powered and data-centric products
