About the role
- The Machine Operator is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC fabrication equipment to produce high-quality steel components used in trailer manufacturing.
- This role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to producing accurate, quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Experience operating a Press Brake (strongly preferred).
- Experience operating CNC Burn Tables Experience reading blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience in steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or trailer manufacturing.
- Familiarity with overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
- Preferred (but not required): Experience operating a Press Brake (strongly preferred).
Compensation
- $27k-$32k
