Requirements

  • Professional experience with functional programming (specifically Elixir).
  • Deep technical expertise in Ruby and the Rails framework.
  • 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
  • Significant expertise in Ruby on Rails within a production environment.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and database schema design. Mastery of modern debugging patterns and system observability. Strong competency in frontend JavaScript (React/Next.js). Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-system bottlenecks. Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven architectures. The expected salary range for this role is $172,460.00-$215,575.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
