About the role
- The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth continuous production of Lynk's satellites by performing a variety of tasks which include:
- Working with technicians and engineers to ensure processes are clear, efficient, and manufacturable
- Maintaining revision control and ensuring accuracy of all manufacturing documentation
Responsibilities
- Lynk is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing of satellites for our constellation.
- Designing and building test fixtures, jigs, and tooling to support production and testing
- Identifying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements including opportunities to automate processes and develop/procure equipment needed to support this.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience creating work instructions and process documentation in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with maintaining work instruction in MES software
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized in fast-paced environments
- Individuals who do not meet these criteria must be eligible to obtain the necessary authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Nice to have
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
