About the role

  • We are hiring performance engineers to expand our ongoing investment in performance and efficiency.
  • As a performance engineer, you will pair up with engineers to tackle all aspects of evaluating database performance under a wide spectrum of workloads and configurations.
  • You will have a large impact on shaping the performance of the database.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new workload strategies and methodologies
  • Perform competitive benchmarks
  • Build automation tools and frameworks
  • After your first month, you will align with the team's development objectives and you will own and complete a medium-sized starter project.

Requirements

  • You are passionate about benchmarking, and you have read Always measure one level deeper several times throughout your career.
  • 5+ years of experience as a performance engineer
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer writing clean, idiomatic code
  • 1+ years of hands on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
