About the role
- As a Structural Engineer II, you'll join our growing structural engineering team and develop structural designs with regular guidance, applying engineering principles and codes across a diverse range of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV).
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures, with periodic review.
- Apply codes and standards - ASCE 7, IBC, NESC, ASCE 113, IEEE 693, and NFPA - to design tasks.
- Coordinate with designers and the civil design team to develop drawings, details, and foundation bills of material (BOMs) across project areas.
- Expand technical breadth, support less-experienced staff, and progress toward EIT/FE and PE licensure.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design and the applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in structural, civil, or related engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on routine tasks and communicate effectively across disciplines.
Nice to have
- 1+ years of structural engineering experience.
- EIT/FE preferred.
- LPILE and VBA/Python a plus.
- Use engineering software (Excel, RISA, and LPILE
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA) and Excel
Compensation
- $80k-$95k
