Responsibilities
- The Radiology Technologist will perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to our physician team.
Requirements
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

- An associate's degree and completion of a AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, current certification from the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (CPR) are required.
- Calculate, measure, and record radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed, using computer and following physician's prescription
- Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment or cameras

Skills
- Knowledge of x-ray equipment
- Produce a computer-generated or film image for interpretation by a physician
- Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment
- Dispose of radioactive materials and store radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures
- Prepare stock radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to safety standards that minimize radiation exposure to workers and patients.
- Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide them with assistance during test procedures
