About the role

  • The Pantheon Developer Relations Department is offering a full-time position for a Senior Developer Advocate, focused on illustrating professional usage of Next.js on Pantheon
  • Communicating inward to Pantheon's staff about how we need to evolve to meet market expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Pantheon brings together exceptional builders who take ownership, drive meaningful impact, and shape what's next for the web.
  • Every day, thousands of developers and marketers use our WebOps platform to build, iterate, and scale WordPress, Drupal, and Next.js sites that reach billions of people worldwide.
  • To support this mission this role will switch between two modes of working:
  • Owns the quality of technical content and helps drive documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize upcoming features.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience working in web development.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining npm packages.
  • A track record of effective public communication through channels like conference presentations and blog posts.
  • Familiarity with, and perspective upon, the rising and falling trends in web architectures and JavaScript frameworks.
  • After an offer is made and accepted, E-verify will be utilized to establish your identity and employment eligibility as required by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Skills

  • Communicating outward to the web development community about best practices (and how they are supported by Pantheon).
  • Write blog posts that take a clear point of view on technologies integrated with Pantheon.
  • Record video tutorials and prepare webinars, technical presentations and workshops that demonstrate product usage.

Compensation

  • The US base salary range for this position in the United States is $126,000 - $175,000 USD per year.
