About the role

Responsibilities
- As our Digital Design Intern, you will be involved with:
- Design, development and verification of digital circuits for use in our data communications products.
- Design, layout, simulation, and verification of the digital blocks using the latest State of the Art CAD tools to implement digital designs (including Synthesis, DFT insertion, and STA/timing closure)
- This position is for a 12 - 16-month student Digital IC design internship at Semtech Canada with the Signal Integrity Products Group (SIP) in our Ottawa Design Centre.
- As a member of our Digital Design group, you will have exposure to all areas of digital development, including definition, design, verification and implementation.
Requirements
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment
- Knowledge and familiarity with SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL would be an asset
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python would be an asset
- Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically included in this description.
