About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for EPGS and SPDS components and software
  • Leads and coordinates work to analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware designs and interface specifications
  • Leads work to test and validates that system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Troubleshoots Advanced E-7 EPGS and SPDS. Authors and updates Specification Control Drawings (SCDs), Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Electrical load analysis (ELA) documents Develops and maintains relationships with teammates, peers, and supplier counterparts
  • Designs and drafts Functional Schematics of the power system
  • Develops and maintains relationships with teammates, peers, and supplier counterparts

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in Electrical engineering
  • Experience with Functional Schematic Drafting & Design.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Reports progress and elevates issues to manager as required
  • Support FAA Certification activities as required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with FAA certification procedures for Part 25 regulations.

Compensation

  • Lead Level: $146,200 - $197,800
