About the role
- SUMMARY You will orchestrate complex technical programs from conception through delivery, coordinating work across autonomous scientists, engineers, and technical specialists.
- This role requires managing parallel workstreams where hardware development, R&D, manufacturing, and scientific validation all happen simultaneously with interdependent deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical programs involving hardware components and scientific validation across multiple parallel workstreams
- Manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple evolving projects
- Partner with hardware engineering on component selection, design validation, and manufacturing readiness
- Manage vendor relationships with component suppliers, manufacturers, and testing facilities
- Create and maintain technical program documentation while respecting contributor autonomy
Requirements
- 6+ years technical program management experience, 3+ years at hardware or hardtech companies
- Experience coordinating parallel workstreams in flat, project or research based organizations
- Direct experience with hardware product development lifecycle and scientific research translation
- Experience coordinating autonomous technical contributors across multiple scientific and engineering domains
Nice to have
- B.S. or higher degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline in the physical or engineering sciences

Compensation
- $150,000-$275,000 USD
