About the role

  • The Behavioral Health Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the daily management of the outpatient substance use disorder, mental health, and/or child and family programs at their site.
  • They provide administrative supervision to all site staff.

  • The position will work with and support other Sea Mar employees and patients to help fulfil the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Must have and maintain a current CPR certification.
  • Must have and maintain active First Aid certification.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Business or related fields.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.

Nice to have

  • Bi-cultural, preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience working with underserved populations, including migrant or season farm workers, and homeless populations, preferred.

Skills

  • Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Mental Health Professional, Chemical Dependency Professional, and Minority Mental Health Specialist certifications are preferred.

Compensation

  • Salary - Salary Plan, 92,000.00 USD Annual
  • Paid-time-off starting at 24 days per year + 10 paid Holidays.
