Responsibilities

  • Our team partners with rental property owners and operators, providing creative technology, strategic data, and robust training to drive client growth.
  • About the role The Business Advisor manages high‑value rental relationships in top metropolitan regions, driving retention, performance, and portfolio growth for Zillow's Rentals business.
  • The role combines consultative account management, data‑driven insights, and cross‑functional collaboration to deepen product adoption and deliver measurable value for regional partners.
  • Perform a high volume of calls to increase participation from multifamily rental management companies.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to prospect, log activity, and manage your calendar and opportunities.
  • Excel in high-level conversations and presentations with decision-makers with a focus on building positive relationships to drive business results.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Zillow Group, representing the best interests of the company, its advertisers, and industry partners.
  • Execute against the MEDDPICC sales process and adopt Challenger principles in every customer interaction to drive insight-led, value-based conversations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in outside sales, business-to-business sales, and/or selling into accounts with complex/multiple decision-makers.
  • High degree of ownership and dedication to work quickly and accurately in a rapidly changing environment.

Compensation

  • In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $81,200.00 - $129,800.00 annually.
  • This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
  • In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $77,200.00 - $123,200.00 annually.
  • The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
