About the role
- The PCT II provides assistance with patient elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, and progress activity and practices patient and family centered care.
- This role typically reports to the Unit Manager.

Responsibilities
- Certified in Basic Life Support issued by (AHA) American Heart Association within 90 days of employment.
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support issued by (AHA) American Heart Association within 90 days of employment.

Skills
- Provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Responsible for timely and accurate documentation of information. Should appropriately report any unusual changes or findings to the nurse.
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
- Helps orient new employees as appropriate.
