About the role

Conduct daily walkthroughs of hyperscale data center construction sites.
Check for hazards like arc flash risks, poor heavy equipment handling, or improper low-voltage electrical setups.

Deliver safety orientations, coordinate tool-box talks, and guide personnel directly on safety best practices.

Generally requires 1 to 3 years of hands-on safety training or field experience in commercial construction, rigging, or low-voltage electrical work.
A high school diploma paired with technical field training is common, though an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety management serves as an advantage.
Soft Skills: High energy, comfort speaking directly to groups of field workers, and proficiency use.
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.

Active OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certifications are typically mandatory.
First Aid/CPR, NFPA 70E (electrical safety), or a CHST credential are highly preferred.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.

Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.
