About the role
- You'll travel regularly to visit quarries, mines, and cement plants, and ensure that all our customers are up and running again as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- This role requires leadership skills and the ability to work away from the office/warehouse setting as a team with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with heavy-duty conveyor belt installation & vulcanization
- Perform Hot, Cold & mechanical Splicing
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conveyor belt splicing or rubber lining.
- Experience working outdoors (cold, heat, noise) in a physically demanding role
- Ability to lift 60+ lbs. with the assistance of another person
- Completion of secondary school
- General mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, a go-getter
