About the role
- We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our team.
- The Welder will be responsible for joining, cutting, and repairing metal and other materials using welding equipment.
- The ideal candidate should be able to work with various welding techniques, read blueprints or technical drawings, and follow safety protocols to ensure high-quality and durable work.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and arc welding.
- Maintain and use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, helmets, and masks.
- Maintain and repair welding machines, tools, and other equipment used in the welding process.
- Collaborate with other team members, engineers, or supervisors to plan and execute welding tasks.
Requirements
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of welding materials and metal.
- Ability to work in various environments (e.g., outdoor, industrial settings).
Nice to have
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME).
- Experience with advanced welding technologies or automation.
- Work Environment:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, dust, and noise.
- May be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Skills
- Conduct inspections of completed welds using tools like micrometers, calipers, or visual inspection to check for accuracy.
