About the role
- The SESS Team will service children through the Child Search Office and in public and non-public school settings.
- Functions as evaluation coordinator for designated referred students;
- Facilitates the Student Assistance Team (SATeam) process by participating as a representative of the Student
Responsibilities
- Evaluation & Support Services team in providing feedback on best practices in the student assistance team
- / behavioral interventions for support and / or related services to clients;
- Provides a written report of any academic/behavioral support services provided to clients;
- Evaluates as a Student Evaluation & Support Services member and in accordance with Bulletin 1508, the Pupil
Requirements
- Master's Degree in School Psychology required;
- Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
- Must possess basic computer skills and demonstrate the ability to use various types of software programs;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and

- Participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) staffing and service plan meetings, when appropriate
- Certification by the Louisiana State Department of Education as a School Psychologist;
