Responsibilities

  • This position supports the technical onboarding of digital media assets into Atris by preparing, validating, and processing content through established ingestion workflows.
  • This position performs technical quality control, metadata validation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure media assets meet archive standards for preservation, accessibility, and discoverability.
  • Working closely with archive, production, editorial, and technology teams, the role helps scale ingest operations, improve content quality, and maintain a reliable repository of enterprise media assets for long-term reuse and preservation.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to validate media assets, troubleshoot routine technical issues, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with digital media files, archives, content management systems, or media operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Information Management, Broadcast Operations, Computer Technology, or a related field; and/or relevant work experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with digital asset management systems, media processing, transcoding, quality control, or workflow automation tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with video, audio, image, and production file formats, as well as metadata standards, taxonomy, and digital preservation concepts, is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting large-scale content migration, archive operations, or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.

Compensation

  • The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $59,600 to $79,800 per year.
