Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize intake and quality control procedure for circuit boards, optomechanical components, and subassemblies.
  • Set up workbench and build fixtures for system assembly, calibration and test.
  • Manage and optimize intake and incoming quality control of prototype parts, circuit boards, and subassemblies.
  • Manage Lidar system outgoing quality control and engineering sample fulfillment.
  • Support engineering and lab operations:
  • Operate and maintain custom electro-optical test setup for system calibration, characterization and performance evaluation.
  • Support system engineering lab equipment and ensure facility stays organized and functional.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or diploma in engineering related field or equivalent experience in a hardware lab or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • While prior experience is not required, a strong interest in emerging technologies and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Able to work under general supervision.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
