About the role

  • As a Leasing Renewal Associate, you will be an integral part of our leasing team, dedicated to driving lease renewals and fostering long-term relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

  • Lease Renewals: Proactively manage lease expirations and initiate renewal discussions with residents to encourage timely renewals.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of renewal status, resident communications, and feedback in property management software.

  • In 2025, Roofstock took an ownership stake in Casago (short-term rental management services), expanding our platform to support both long-term and short-term rental investment services.
  • Proactively manage lease expirations and initiate renewal discussions with residents to encourage timely renewals.
  • Maintain accurate records of renewal status, resident communications, and feedback in property management software.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Property Management or related field (i.e. hospitality, real estate)
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service position
  • Ability to prioritize and take initiative
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use Google Suite
  • Travel required:
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment and we are unable to sponsor H1-B Visas at this time.
  • Licensed Real Estate Agent
  • Phenomenal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • This position is classified as REMOTE but must be located in Charlotte, NC, Colombia, SC, or Myrtle Beach, SC
  • This position will require some travel within the market.

Compensation

  • $40,000-$45,000 annually
  • Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, skills, and interview performance.

  • The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.
  • Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.
