- Job Title Quality Control Specialist II - NADCAP By following establish procedures, and under moderate supervision, role is responsible for inspect raw materials, good in process and finished goods assuring technical specifications are met.
Responsibilities
- Under minimal supervision, performs visual and measurement inspection tests including calculating distances, angles, radius tapers, thread and gear data using complex measuring equipment (i.e. Zeiss or Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines, Smartscope or RAM)
- Inputs and analyzes statistical data utilizing Infinity or other SPC software, documents data obtained during all quality inspection processes and examines statistical data to determine and maintain quality and product reliability
- Performs analytical test using instrumentation/equipment and perform measurement calculations as needed
- Directs other department inspectors at request of team lead or supervisor in leader's absence
- Performs internal audits in accordance with Company and customer quality control standards
- Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
Requirements
- 2-4 years of applicable product inspection experience
- NADCAP accreditation required for Level II, for fluorescent penetrative testing
- Demonstrates proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and possesses intermediate math skills
- Works any and all shifts/days as required
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary
