Responsibilities
- Ciena Canada ULC is seeking an experienced Test Engineer, Test Station Validation to drive the development and validation of advanced test systems supporting optical networking hardware.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Proven development of automated test systems using MATLAB, NI TestStand, or Python
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges
- Familiarity with optical networking hardware and systems
Skills
- Mentor junior engineers and guide test station validation methodologies and best practices
Compensation
- CAD 74,200.00 - 118,400.00
- Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
- Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
- Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
