About the role
- Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Project Manager to lead and manage fire alarm system installation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the fire protection industry and a strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects on
- time and within budget. Responsibilities: All tasks necessary to complete objectives above, including: • Participating in Sales Bid Reviews • Schedule and conduct Project Kick-Off Meetings • Active involvement with the Pre-Design and Design Process, which includes obtaining field information for the Design Process. • Schedule and conduct meetings throughout
Responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Active involvement with the Pre-Design and Design Process, which includes obtaining field information for the Design Process.
- Schedule and conduct meetings throughout the Design Process.
- Create and maintain all RFIs for projects, with help from the design staff for design related RFIs
- Schedule and conduct Hand-Off Meetings between Field Superintendents and Design.
- Manage Construction process according to objectives stated above.
- Check and facilitate turnover of field documentation from the field superintendent to the design department and administration staff.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
Nice to have
- NICET certification in fire alarm systems is preferred.
