Company info
- For 30 years, Expedia has helped people plan and book the trips that matter to them, and travelers count it among the most trusted brands in travel.
- AI is now changing how people search, decide, and plan, and that change is happening faster than anything our industry has seen since travel moved online.
- You will have the trust and travel expertise of a brand millions of people already rely on, along with the freedom to reinvent how a trip gets planned.
- The job is to move fast with new technology while staying true to the travelers who depend on us to get their trip right.
- Few product roles anywhere offer that combination.
- You will set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI across the Brand Expedia experience.
- That includes the AI tools travelers use today, the capabilities our platform teams are building, how Expedia shows up in other AI products, and new experiences we have not built yet.
- Your work will span contextual AI that understands where a traveler is in their trip, natural language search, agentic experiences that take work off the traveler's plate, multimodal inputs, and new apps.
- You will decide where AI should help, where it should stay out of the way, and how we know it is working for travelers and for the business.
- Planning a trip is hard.
- People juggle dates, budgets, family preferences, and dozens of open tabs, often over several weeks.
- We want a product leader who is obsessed with that experience and believes AI can make trip planning feel easy, even fun.
- You will also have room to experiment.
