Responsibilities
- Hypertherm is seeking a Quality Manager to lead a team of quality technicians, strengthen metrology and measurement capability, and drive operational quality excellence.
- This role supports sustainable performance improvement, effective governance, and confidence in product and process quality.
- Guide, coach, and develop quality technicians; oversee metrology lab workflows, calibration practices, inspection setup, and adherence to measurement standards.
- Apply basic GD&T knowledge, measurement methods, and CMM fundamentals to support evaluation of product and process performance; ensure accurate and consistent measurement practices.
- Model leadership behaviors that promote empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement; support associate development through coaching, feedback, and identification of growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5-10 years of experience, or Master's degree in STEM/MBA with 3-8 years of experience
- Knowledge of ISO9001, basic project management, and customer-focused quality practices
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required or in progress)
Skills
- Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
Compensation
- $82,636.00-$137,731.00 Annual This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
