About the role
- The ED Tech assists the nursing and medical staff by performing selected procedures and emergent duties in the care of Emergency Department patients.
- The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual's job.
- High School diploma or equivalent with recent experience in a health care setting providing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performs desk duties in a clerical role with high levels of accuracy
- Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains the environment of care
Requirements
- All functions must be within the scope of training and instruction received and is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
