  • As Guest Producer, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest booked on the show has the potential to create a high-impact, culturally relevant, and deeply insightful conversation.
  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and communication skills, the highest attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding research informed by YouTube, audience behaviour, and digital trends.
  • You will go the extra mile to deliver exceptional outcomes and thrive in a fast-paced environment where excellence and preparation are essential.
  • KEY OUTCOMES Monitor YouTube, social media platforms, and cultural trends to identify emerging voices, outliers, and high-value potential guests.
  • Analyse social, search, and audience trends to help inform guest booking decisions and ensure episodes remain timely, relevant, and engaging.
  • Conduct in-depth research on potential guests ahead of pitching to Steven, including their expertise, background, and alignment with The Diary Of A CEO themes, identifying unique angles that could make episodes stand out.
  • Stay ahead of industry and cultural trends to uncover untapped opportunities for featuring individuals who can bring new ideas and perspectives to the audience.
  • CORE COMPETENCIES Support the end-to-end guest booking process, building relationships with guests, agents, and publicists to secure high-quality conversations.
  • Work closely with the research team to develop creative storytelling elements for episodes, including props, imagery, and other visual aids that enhance the conversation.
  • When needed, handle administrative tasks including securing release forms and managing guest documentation.
  • Monitor guest booking processes and contribute recommendations to improve efficiency and the overall guest experience.
  • Identify when episodes may benefit from deeper, documentary-style research that explores complex stories or underrepresented topics.
  • Work with the Head of Research to identify and connect with experts, contributors, and organisations that can strengthen the storytelling within episodes.
  • Conduct outreach to potential collaborators and sources who can provide deeper context and insight into specific topics.
  • Support the development of workflows that allow more in-depth research episodes to be executed efficiently alongside the regular production schedule.
  • A keen interest in YouTube, digital platforms, AI tools, and how they can improve guest research and production workflows.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly when working under time pressure.
  • Commitment to using systems, tools, and workflows that keep research and guest processes organised and efficient.
  • A genuine passion for producing exceptional conversations and delivering a seamless, memorable experience for guests and audiences alike.
