Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Marketing and HR stakeholders to understand priorities, develop roadmaps for category initiatives
  • Solid understanding of procurement/sourcing/category management methodology and able to drive value for stakeholders leveraging the right sourcing levers
  • Can conform to shifting priorities and have ability to drive multiple simultaneous projects
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and hold routine business reviews to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints
  • Build rapport with external and internal stakeholders to drive engagement levels and develop quality relationships
  • Identify and mitigate roadblocks to support resolutions and maintain internal business partner satisfaction
  • Manage, track and report on the performance of strategic third-party alliances, category plans, and spend data for categories
  • The Procurement Category Lead specializes in conducting in-depth research and analysis of procurement related data to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiencies in the Professional Services, Marketing and HR categories.
  • This role involves gathering and evaluating data from various sources, including supplier performance metrics, market trends and financial indicators to manage suppliers within assigned categories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management, including conducting QBRs and managing supplier performance
  • Ability to clearly and convincingly present written and oral information
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent and disciplined project management and prioritization skills with ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Ability to conduct benchmarking to address cost, quality, risk considerations
  • Ability to provide thought leadership, ability to influence and actively shape strategy
