About the role
- The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting will play a critical role in supporting public company readiness initiatives and leading external financial reporting activities.
- Reporting to the Head of Finance, this individual will be responsible for preparing SEC filings, supporting technical accounting matters, and helping establish scalable reporting and compliance processes appropriate for a public company environment.
Responsibilities
- Support IPO readiness activities, including implementation of disclosure controls and SOX compliance processes
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, HR, Clinical Operations, and external auditors/advisors to gather and validate information for filings
- Drive process improvements and help build scalable reporting infrastructure as the organization grows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical-stage biotech environment.
