About the role
- GOAT is seeking a fashion enthusiast looking to combine their passion with a full-time career, and obtain an entry-level position in the startup world.
- In addition, a Junior Authentication Specialist must keep up with industry trends, releases, and collaborations with the world's best retailers, from streetwear to high fashion.
Requirements
- Knowledge of sneakers and apparel across all brands, including originals and re-releases
- Ability to recognize current trends within the industry
- Must be able to lift and move boxes (up to 35 pounds)
- Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
- The ideal candidate possesses a solid knowledge of not only sneakers/apparel but of the consignment industry for brands such as Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, FOG Essentials, Supreme, BAPE, Denim Tears etc.
- As a Junior Authentication Specialist, you must have the ability to verify authenticity of sneakers/apparel across the major brands.

- Keep detailed notes and enter accurate data into the GOAT Group database, including release information, product SKUs and production dates

- Role Overview
- You will not only figure out the authenticity of sneakers/apparel, but spot manufacturer defects, assess wear, and inspect SKU and size, ensuring that each buyer has the retail experience they've come to expect.
