About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process and ship features across mobile and web platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to influence the product from conception to execution through a user-centered approach.
  • Use AI tools throughout your design process - from concepting and prototyping to identifying repeatable workflows worth automating.
  • Facilitate design sprints and workshops to develop high-quality solutions.
  • Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web.
  • Help evolve and grow the design practice at GameChanger. Contribute to our design system, be vocal in design critiques, share inspirational resources, and aid in brainstorms.
  • You've demonstrated the ability to rapidly build fluency in an unfamiliar domain through user research.
  • You've integrated AI tools into your design workflow for research synthesis, rapid concepting, prototyping, or exploring solutions faster than traditional methods allow.
  • You've designed and shipped multiple native iOS and Android experiences and understand the unique interaction patterns, constraints, and opportunities of mobile design.

Requirements

  • You have real knowledge of and personal investment in sports either as a fan or player.
  • Particularly valuable for this role given the team's focus, though not required if the above is strong.
  • You've been designing user-centered experiences for at least 5 years.
  • You have at least two detailed case studies.
  • You have experience conducting user research, facilitating user interviews and user tests, digging through data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • You take the time to seek out and provide meaningful feedback because you know it's the best way to grow.
  • You are self-aware and humble.

Nice to have

  • You have experience designing for data-heavy products - turning raw information into something people can act on.

Compensation

  • The target salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $160,000.
