- They will oversee the operation, maintenance, compliance, and optimization of our vehicle fleet.
Responsibilities
- Manages a team of supervisory and/or professional staff responsible for fleet management.
- Manage the daily operations of the organization's fleet, including vehicles, equipment, and associated assets.
- Develop and implement fleet policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain vehicle registrations, licensing, permits, and inspections.
- Supports safety reviews/investigations and modifications of vehicles when approved.
- Develop and manage fleet operating and capital budgets.
- Monitors and manages expenditures.
- Develop strategy for overall teams and functions.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop, prioritize and implement cross-functional initiatives.
- Oversees resourcing decisions and planning for team partners with HR in the definition of jobs, recruitment, evaluation and selection processes.
