About the role

  • Ensure compliance for Transmission Operations regarding the NERC reliability standards as applied by all Regional Reliability Organizations (RROs)
  • collaborating with Transmission, Generation, Commercial Operations, and Corporate in compliance matters
  • interfacing with these business units in the standards development/review process.

Responsibilities

  • The FAC-008 Corrective Action Program Lead oversees the development, implementation, tracking, and effectiveness review of corrective actions resulting from FAC-008 errors, root cause analyses, and verification activities.
  • The lead ensures actions address identified causes, prevent recurrence, are completed on time, and drive continuous improvement across the FAC-008 program
  • Develop and manage corrective action plans resulting from FAC-008 errors, verification activities, audits, and root cause analyses, ensuring actions address underlying causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain the corrective action tracking system, including action ownership, due dates, status updates, supporting documentation, and closure evidence.
  • Perform and coordinate effectiveness reviews to verify that corrective actions have been properly implemented and are achieving the intended results.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance policy.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field,
  • Or High School Diploma / GED and two (2) years of experience in compliance and/or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in addition to any experience noted above
  • Associate's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field,

Nice to have

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in addition to any experience noted above.
  • Occasional travel 5-10% and occasional overtime
  • Physical demand level is typically sedentary with a possibility for occasional field visits.
  • Solid understanding of electrical power systems and NERC compliance preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Strong skills in communication, issue resolution, organization, and facilitation are essential.

Compensation

  • $87,633.00 - $128,688.00
