About the role
- This role offers the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively,
- Oversee all daily operations of the apartment community, ensuring excellence in customer service, presentations and resident satisfaction.
- Visit, inspect, and communicate with residents and staff on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain productive and open lines of communication with Center Management team, tenants, residents, shoppers, and vendors.
- Deliver a positive resident experience by anticipating needs, resolving concerns promptly, and adopting a strong sense of community.
- Lead, train, and develop on site management team including the maintenance and Community Associate position.
- Manage leasing performance, including traffic generation, tours, closing, and renewal strategy.
- Maintain corporate outreach and resident retention programs.
Requirements
- Ensure residential building and units are maintained to Tanger's high standards and provide additional training/guidance as required.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-6 years experience in residential or property management
- Knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing Regulations and other laws related to property specific guidelines LRO, Microsoft Office and experience in MRI preferred.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree or CPM highly preferred
- Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or HCCP designation preferred
