About the role
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Raleigh.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Nation's leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation systems, and now offering a complete solution of fans, heaters, ductwork and HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding customer invoices
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues
Requirements
- Recent graduate, customer service, retail or up to 1 year of relevant experience considered
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with high volume workload
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics preferred
- Experience with filing notices and liens on past due projects preferred
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques preferred
- Working knowledge of MS office products, Microsoft D365 a plus
