Responsibilities

  • And we recently began construction on the building of a new, comprehensive, dedicated 5-story Children's Hospital on our main campus in New Orleans, with expected opening at the start of 2028.

Compensation

  • The program performs approximately 250 cardiac surgeries, 400 cardiac catheterizations (75% interventional) and 19,000 ambulatory visits at 15 locations across Louisiana and Mississippi per year.
  • Our faculty have an opportunity for academic appointment at the University of Queensland and XOCOM, participate in numerous research studies and multi-center trials, and publish hundreds of research papers annually.
