  • D.A. Davidson & Co., a leading investment banking firm, is accepting applicants for a full-time Vice President position in our Equity Capital Markets group based in New York City.
  • The Vice President is expected to translate Director and Managing Director wishes into achievable tasks, assign projects to Associates and Analysts and see these projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, train and develop Associates and Analysts on the team.
  • D.A. Davidson & Co. - the Strength of Advice Our firm delivers a breadth of quality financial solutions to individual and institutional investors, companies, and government entities.
  • The Vice President is expected to project manage strategic assignments assisting clients with public offerings, private placements and other advisory services.
  • The Vice President is expected to be a coach to junior bankers and build relationships with clients.

Requirements

  • High degree of comfort interacting with senior executives.
  • Strong financial modeling ability and Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Good judgment and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
  • MBA with at least 3 years of capital markets experience or undergraduate degree with a minimum of 6 years capital markets experience.
  • Ability to lead transaction execution teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior work ethic and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform in both team and self-directed settings.
  • Possession of Series 79 (Series 7 may be applicable) and 63 licenses preferred but not required. New hires without these licenses will be required upon hiring.
  • In this role you will:
  • Lead the day-to-day execution of transactions (Public Offerings / Private Placements), including preparing and reviewing company marketing documents and reviewing financial models, managing marketing and coordinating due diligence, analyzing financing alternatives and negotiating documentation.
  • Establish client trust by identifying needs, project leadership, transaction structuring, company positioning, due diligence, negotiating, etc.
  • Assist senior bankers in the business development efforts.

Nice to have

  • Strong transaction history - Capital Markets experience preferred
  • Possession of Series 79 (Series 7 may be applicable) and 63 licenses preferred but not required.
  • New hires without these licenses will be required upon hiring.

Compensation

  • $225k-$225k
