Responsibilities

  • This position exists to provide academic advising, college and career readiness programming, and student support services to participants in the federally funded TRIO Upward Bound program within the Student Affairs division of Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
  • Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, school personnel, and community partners.
  • Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting, advising, mentoring, or working with students from low-income, first-generation, diverse, or underserved backgrounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations through oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge of high school graduation requirements, college readiness practices, and postsecondary planning processes.
  • Experience utilizing student information systems, databases, or case management software.

Compensation

  • $50,070-$72,433/annually
