About the role
- Plan and conduct organized, safe, and engaging practices.
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the JV volleyball program, including practices, matches, player development, and team culture.
- Develop athletes physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
- Maintain effective communication with players, parents, school administration, and athletic department staff.
- Promote and build a team and positive program culture of strong Christian character, sportsmanship, diligent work ethic, perseverance and team above self.
- Be in agreement with and able to support the school's Statement of Faith.
- Maintain confidentiality in all school matters.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will: Be a born-again Christian, committed to the Lord, exhibiting a close and dynamic daily walk with Jesus Christ.
- Have the ability to present a positive image of the school to others and to the community.
Nice to have
- 2-3 years of relevant coaching experience preferred
Skills
- Teach and reinforce fundamental volleyball skills, game strategy, etc.
