DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is looking to hire a Welding Technician to work from our Port of Alexandria Facility in our Welding Department.

Maintain a clean work environment.
The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Read and understand measuring devices such as tape measurer, rules, and combination squares required.
Perform simple shop math (add/subtract fractions, decimals, and whole numbers) required.
Experience applying simple hand tools such as wrenches, hammer, screw driver etc. required.

However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have

Attends safety meetings as requested / instructed.
Operates all machinery and equipment, including the Company's forklift, in a safe manner at all times.
Promotes company goals.
Works to displays an excellent safety record
