About the role
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in a manufacturing or machining environment.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams to replenish tooling, supplies, and consumables.
Responsibilities
- The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the inventory, organization, issuance, and maintenance of tooling, consumables, and production support equipment used throughout the machine shop.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within inventory management systems and perform routine cycle counts.
- Organize and maintain the tool crib to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

- Role Overview The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the inventory, organization, issuance, and maintenance of tooling, consumables, and production support equipment used throughout the machine shop.
- This role is critical to ensuring machinists and manufacturing personnel have the tools and materials needed to support production schedules, quality requirements, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Support machinists and production personnel by locating and providing required tooling and equipment.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machine shop, inventory control, warehouse, or tool crib environment.
- Working knowledge of machining tools, cutting tools, tool holders, measuring equipment, and shop consumables.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required.
- Familiarity with cutting tool vendors, tool presetting, and tool life management.

Skills
- Issue, receive, and track cutting tools, tool holders, gauges, measuring equipment, and shop consumables.
- Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage, wear, or calibration requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
