About the role

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams to replenish tooling, supplies, and consumables.

The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the inventory, organization, issuance, and maintenance of tooling, consumables, and production support equipment used throughout the machine shop.
Maintain accurate inventory records within inventory management systems and perform routine cycle counts.
Organize and maintain the tool crib to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Role Overview The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing the inventory, organization, issuance, and maintenance of tooling, consumables, and production support equipment used throughout the machine shop.
This role is critical to ensuring machinists and manufacturing personnel have the tools and materials needed to support production schedules, quality requirements, and operational efficiency.

Support machinists and production personnel by locating and providing required tooling and equipment.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machine shop, inventory control, warehouse, or tool crib environment.
Working knowledge of machining tools, cutting tools, tool holders, measuring equipment, and shop consumables.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required.
Familiarity with cutting tool vendors, tool presetting, and tool life management.

Issue, receive, and track cutting tools, tool holders, gauges, measuring equipment, and shop consumables.
Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage, wear, or calibration requirements.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Monitor tooling usage and inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to support production demands.

Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and inventory control processes.
