About the role
- This role is responsible for providing overall leadership of operating areas, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement across production units.
Responsibilities
- Drive a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility across the organization
- Oversee and support Area Supervisors and Operations Engineers, holding them accountable for both technical and day-to-day leadership
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and efficiency
- Lead daily and weekly operational prioritization and planning
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to identify and implement cost reduction and reliability improvements
- Conduct regular audits (permits, housekeeping, JSA, 5S, etc.) to drive continuous improvement

Requirements
- Employees are required to follow and support the requirements of our quality management system which is available on the ISO Sync site and can be accessed through Albert by all site workers. #LI-JH3
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical industry preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, including team development and accountability
- Strong understanding of safe work practices, environmental compliance, and operational excellence
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in bromine, chemical processing, or similar industrial operations
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with strong safety cultures
- Background in continuous improvement methodologies
