About the role
- Computer Skills - General knowledge of computer programs used in the operation of the production plant, such as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Prefer working knowledge of SAP systems.
- Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Retention Support: Support the Retention Program.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiate discussions and implement improvements in all phases of production.
Requirements
- Requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college, resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- General knowledge of computer programs used in the operation of the production plant, such as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Prefer working knowledge of SAP systems.
Nice to have
- Progressive 8 plus years of experience.
- Applicable experience in the Food Processing Industry preferred.
- Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.

- Oversee the smooth running of production shifts and maintenance personnel.
- Safety & Quality:
- Ensure adherence to food safety, food quality, and legality standards.
- Employee Development:
- Motivate managers to provide guidance and programs to enhance employee skills.
- Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve issues related to the quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Performance Review:
- Analyze cost and performance data to identify areas needing improvement.
- Compile monthly expense and efficiency reports.
