About the role

  • This role sits on the People team, which means you will work at the intersection of culture and be aligned with company strategy.
  • This is a hands-on production role at its core.
  • If your background is primarily in communications, program management, or adjacent functions, this role is not the right fit.

Responsibilities

  • The Camunda Kickoff is our largest internal gathering of the year, bringing together Camundi from across the globe for alignment, inspiration, and connection. You will own this event end-to-end, from the first site visit to the final retrospective.
  • Manage a network of external vendors with clear SLAs, budgets, and accountability
  • Partner with the CEO, CPO, and functional leaders to shape the agenda and ensure it reflects company strategy and priorities
  • Build and manage the event budget, track actuals, and report on spend
  • Lead post-event retrospectives and apply learnings to the next cycle
  • You will own the event budget, track actuals against it, and report clearly on spend
  • Partner with People Business Partners and the broader People team to ensure programming reflects where the company is and where it is going
  • You will own this event end-to-end, from the first site visit to the final retrospective.
  • Build scalable processes for event planning, vendor management, and stakeholder communication that the broader team can use

Requirements

  • Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating quickly.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with standard event and collaboration tools
  • familiarity with Asana or similar project management software is a plus

Skills

  • Strong project management skills. You use systems and tools to stay organized, not just instinct

Compensation

  • We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.
  • The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market.
  • United States: $133,500 to $200,000
  • United Kingdom: £83,800 to £137,800
  • Singapore: S$165,700 to S$248,600
  • In Person Connection: We invest in meaningful face time through our Annual Kickoff (Vienna in 2025, Madrid in 2026!), team offsites, and Camundi Connection Budgets, including contributing to meetups while travelling,, and local gatherings with fellow Camundi.
  • The Live Well program launches in 2026 and scales to €1,000 annually from 2027.
