About the role

Operations across our programs has scaled faster than the methodology behind it, and we need someone whose full-time job is closing that gap.
You'll spend time in the ops flow, measure where time and cost actually sit, and identify the highest-leverage improvements.
Our fleet is scaling past 100+ vehicles across three distinct business areas, and the same operational problems keep showing up in different programs.

We're hiring a Process Engineer to join Vehicle Operations with a cross-program mandate covering Test, Fleet Reliability, Build, and On Road Deployment across our Automotive, Trucking, and Construction & Mining programs.
Some of that work is analysis and methodology design
some of it is driving change end-to-end, from design through full rollout.
You'll recognize those patterns, design the methodology to solve them once rather than every time, and build the measurement infrastructure that tells us whether what we're doing is actually working.

Process templates and standards: develop SOP structures, runbook formats, checklist templates, and training assessment models that scale across verticals.
Cross-vertical pattern recognition: identify where the same problem appears in Test, Build, Fleet Reliability, and On Road Deployment so we design the solution once instead of three or four times.
Design: produce structured findings, methodology, and a clear implementation path with prioritization and rationale.

Background in automotive, robotics, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, aerospace, or another complex hardware + software operations environment.
Experience scaling operations from pilot through commercial deployment.
Familiarity with fleet operations, vehicle servicing and uptime, or test and deployment cycles.
ISO 9001 / QMS exposure.
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
